Seek out inspiration and be open to feedback during this assignment
Instructions
Step One: Seek feedback
Look at some previous feedback you’ve received on a submission photo, or seek out specific feedback from a peer or mentor. Reflect on what in the feedback is actionable and focus on that while making your photo for this assignment.
Step Two: Create a new photo from media inspiration
Pull inspiration from something you’re reading, listening to, or watching. When creating the image, think about the actionable feedback you received, and consider how you can implement that into this new image.
Step Three: Give actionable feedback
On the discord, go to the #feedback or #photoclass-submission channels and give thoughtful feedback to a peer. Remember to keep it constructive and actionable, focusing on what they could do to improve the image. Do not give general or unhelpful feedback, and of course remember to keep it respectful.
